- Health Assessments
- Each camper will be asked a brief health questionnaire before coming or upon arrival. If they show signs of illness or have been around people who have been ill, they will be asked to not attend camp.
- If you were exposed to COVID-19 within the last 14 days, you are sick, you test positive for COVID-19, or you are waiting for results of a COVID-19 test, please stay home.
- Masks
- Masks are optional.
- (With the exception of Food Preparation & Serving)

- Cleaning Procedures
- We will be disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (doors, switches, faucets) additional times during the day.
- Windows will be opened frequently to allow for fresh air as much as possible
- Campers will be encouraged to be outdoors much of the time!
- Food Service
- As an organization who is partnered with the Iowa Food Bank, we are required to meet ServSafe Guidelines.
- Our norm will be to wear a mask while preparing and serving food.
- Food is served cafeteria style.
- Hand Washing
- All of our campers and staff are required to wash their hands before meals.
- During the summer there will be additional hand sanitizer.
- Cabins
- Campers will sleep head to toe (no heads close together)
- Illness at Camp
- If a child is sick with COVID-19 symptoms at camp they will be immediately separated from other individuals.
- If a child is sick, there will be close communication with parents/guardians of campers to determine whether they should go home.
- Parents/Guardians of campers will be notified of any exposure.
